Black Tie & florals

Hi there all my blogging buddies,

I guess it's been a while since my last post.  I've been busy to say the least.  My mum came over from W.A. (the other side of Australia) for a three week holiday.  It was such a wonderful time & I really do miss her since she went home again.  As do my two girls & my dh - he's her favourite (& only) son-in-law ;).  While my Mum was here she helped me clean & tidy up my downstairs area.  Trust me when I say it's a two person (of the crafty persuasion) job.  We did a lot of donating & binning over three days.  That was just for where the girls played & my sewing area.  I finally tackled my Scrapping/card making area last week - phew what a job that was.  It is so much tidier & easier to find stuff now.  Plus I have the added advantage of being able to use my whole desk, instead of six inches (yep I am a slob!).

I have also done some Scrapping & card making as well.  My LSS Daisy Chain has asked me to use some of their products to display in the shop.  So for your viewing pleasure here they are.
This range of papers is called Black Tie Affair.  I did find it a little challenging at first to use these papers, but after visiting my Pinterest board Card & Scrap-booking Inspiration.  I soon found some sketches that I could use as inspiration.
This range of paper is called Rose Bouquet & so far it's my favourite.  I was extremely happy with the way the LO came out.  I adore those pictures of Lilly - my very good friend Helen took them for me so they are extra special.
This range is called Twilight Florals.  I am not use to working with some of these colours so have only made the one card so far.  I'm hoping for some more ideas to flow from browsing the net (& especially Pinterest).

I am planning on uploading individual pictures of all of these cards & LO's to my flickr account here. So if you'd like to see them individually please feel free to drop on by :o).

Hopefully I will get some more LO's & cards uploaded that I did for Barbi (Daisy Chain's owner) just before my mum arrived.

Well I'm off as I have one more Paper range to play work with & a few challenge cards to do for the Nov/Dec 2012 challenge over at Die Cut Divas.

Hi Paula! So nice to see a post from you! Sounds like you had a lovely visit with your mom! I know what you mean when you say how much nicer it is to create in a clean space - my problem is trying to keep it that way! :) Love all these cards and layouts! Such pretty paper and adorable photos! Hope you have a good week! Hugs! :)
